150+ Colleges that Allow You to Self-Report SAT and ACT Scores

November 24, 2020

What does it mean to self-report scores?

Lots of costs come up when applying to college. Application fees and SAT and ACT registration costs are some of the more obvious ones. Another cost racks up the more colleges you apply to: fees for sending your scores to colleges.

You have to send score reports to each college, one per school. Both the SAT and ACT offer 4 free score reports, but there are additional fees for extra score reports. The cost is $12 per score report for the SAT and $13 per test date per report for the ACT. It adds up!

In an attempt to lessen the financial burden of applying to college, an increasing number of colleges and universities allow you to self-report your scores. Official score reports aren’t required until you’re accepted. Here’s a list of 178 schools that allow you to self-report your SAT and ACT scores.
